Get 404 when connect SPO list from Power BI Desktop

Recently tried to pick up some Power BI skill. First thing I want to do is import the data from SharePoint online to BI.

In the program, I press “Get Data” > SharePoint, then input my sharepoint online list URL. Then I got below error:

OData Version: 3 and 4, Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. (Not Found)

The error is not useful. In fact it is because you should not input the LIST url. Instead, only input the site collection URL. i.e. https://xxxxxx/sites/xxxx/

Don’t input the suffix after “/sites/xxxx/”.
